Dr. Randall Murray
After graduating from Texas High School in 1978, Dr. Randall Murray packed up his belongings and headed to College Station, Texas where he attended Texas A & M University. After completing his undergraduate requirements, Dr. Murray continued his studies at the Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine where he received his DVM in 1985.
As a veterinary student at Texas A & M, Dr. Murray was recognized for his academic accomplishments by being inducted into Sigma Chi, the Veterinary Honor Society.
Dr. Murray is a general small animal practitioner with special interests in the immunology of preventive medicine. Outside the hospital, he is an avid outdoorsman and hunter and is also interested in domestic and exotic livestock production.
Dr. Russell New
Dr. Russell New is a 1989 graduate of Arkadelphia Senior High School. After receiving his high school diploma, he was admitted to Ouachita Baptist University where he majored in biology and chemistry. In 1993, after 4 years of undergraduate studies, Dr. New was awarded his B.S. degree.
In September, 1993, a few months after college graduation, Dr. New moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in order to attend veterinary school at Louisiana State University. After completing the 4 year curriculum at LSU's College of Veterinary Medicine, he received his DVM degree in 1997.
Dr. New has been an associate veterinarian at Westridge Animal Hospital since 1997. He is involved in local community events and activities. He enjoys speaking with the students about careers in animal science and veterinary medicine.
